Bless Children Living With Cancer at Lighthouse Family Retreat – 2019

Lighthouse Family Retreat is all about helping families living through childhood cancer. They “create environments on seaside retreats where they can rest, restore relationships, experience joy and find hope in God”. I have several friends that take a week of their family’s life and vacation to serve other families. I have loved seeing the smiles and hope through their photos and would love to serve in a meaningful way by giving to both the host and visiting families!

For the last four years, our friends have been able to take a stack of these donated books to the families. They said they loved having it there and taking it home as a souvenir and memory from their trip. We would love to bless more families through this same loving gesture this year!

Our goal is to bless 60 families that will be attending Lighthouse Family Retreat in July with a Secrets of the Seashore book. Usborne Books & More matches donations by 50% so a donation of $25 sponsors three families! Any amount is gratefully appreciated!
