Description
This set includes 144 challenges (12 cards with 12 challenges per card), and focuses on MONEY, FRACTIONS, and ADDING and SUBTRACTING 2-DIGIT numbers.Students learn to count beyond 25, and by 1’s, 5’s, and 10’s.They also learn FRACTIONAL PARTS, including FRACTIONAL PARTS of a WHOLE and FRACTIONAL names.Principles of COMMUNTATIVE PROPERTIES, INVERSE OPERATIONS and FACT FAMILIES are also practiced with ADDITION and SUBTRACTION.
This product meets the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM) standards. Each card is SELF-CORRECTING.
These cards develop Numeration skills.
Card 1 — Count coins (pennies, nickels, dimes, quarters).
Card 2 — Find coins equivalent to a given amount.
Card 3 — Recognize coins needed to buy an item.
Card 4 — Identify a fractional part of a whole (1/2, 1/3, 1/4).
Card 5 — Identify a fractional part of a whole (1/2, 1/3, 1/4).
Card 6 — Addition with sums through 14 using the commutative property.
Card 7 — Subtractions with minuends through 14.
Card 8 — Addition with sums through 18.
Card 9 — Subtractions with minuends through 18.
Card 10 — Find missing number sentences for cact families through 18.
Card 11 — Add 2-digit numbers without regrouping.
Card 12 — Subtract 2-digit numbers without regrouping.
